What is wiring pencil?

A wiring pencil is a tool used by electricians to make electrical connections by wrapping wires together. It comprises of two metal prongs or jaws, connected to a handle, that clamp down on the wires when squeezed together. The jaws are designed to cut through the insulation of the wires and make a secure connection between them, creating a low-resistance path for electricity to flow. Wiring pencils come in different sizes, depending on the thickness of the wires being connected, and can also be used to strip insulation from wires and cut them to length. They are widely used in the electrical industry and are an essential tool for anyone working with electrical circuits and wiring.
